Meet Helena
A lifelong love of animals, told through light
Helena isn’t just a photographer – she’s someone who’s lived every muddy-boot, hay-in-your-hair moment of country life. She was raised on a farm in Devon, now based in the Tamar Valley on the edge of Dartmoor with her two dogs, Arthur the Airedale and Milo the Australian Shepherd, she brings a lifetime of experience with animals into every session.
She specialises in natural light photography, capturing dogs, horses and the companionship they give us in a way that feels effortless, elegant and true. From patient dog walks in quiet woods to the thunder of hooves across the moor, Helena’s approach is gentle, intuitive and rooted in trust – both with her clients and the animals they love.
